A bright, coastal-inspired home in the heart of the Beaches.
The brief
Nestled on a quiet street in the Beaches, this family home was reimagined with custom millwork, furniture, and décor. We leaned into a bright, coastal-inspired palette with natural wood tones, thick woven textures, and deep blues. The result is a modern, serene, family-friendly living space.
Scope of Work
After upsizing, our clients needed all new furniture and engaged DesignChicks to create a whole-home furniture, décor, and design plan. The goal was a cohesive, lakeside retreat that met the needs of their family. We integrated kid-friendly fabrics, carefully curated furniture pieces, layered woven textures, and bold, playful wallpapers. We also reimagined the front portion of the house to incorporate much-needed storage through custom millwork.
Designed as a modern lakeside retreat, this home blends layered textures, natural materials, and family-friendly furnishings into a space that feels calm, bright, and lived in.
